»Nothing’s About to Happen to Me« is Mitski’s eighth studio album, continuing the musical through line established with »The Land Is Inhospitable and So Are We«. Featuring live instrumentation by her touring band and expansive ensemble arrangements, the record was produced and engineered by Patrick Hyland and mastered by Bob Weston. Orchestral parts, arranged and conducted by Drew Erickson, were recorded at Sunset Sound and TTG Studios.
