Al Wootton is a Kent-based DJ and producer informed by directions in dub, techno, and experimental electronics. He runs the labels Trule – where he recently released his »Rhythm Studies« – and Amidah Records. Al Wooton's »Crux EP« is rooted in dub techno, but sets a focus on sophisticated percussion programming. The tracks unfold over 6–8 minutes, before the beatless »Armen« closes the EP.
