In 2025 Ensemble Nist-Nah has commissioned various musicians to work with the group, composing / proposing music that is coherent with the ongoing nature of the groups aesthetics and working strategies. The first of which was with Italian drummer / composer Marco Luparia. Since first participating in the various workshops NN organizes in Nantes, Marco has showed a deep interest for contemporary Gamelan and desire to work with the group, resulting in an ongoing collaborative work that resulted in his piece »15 per year«. Performed and recorded in March 2025 at Salle Paul Fort in Nantes, alongside some of the pieces from the current Nist-Nah repetoire, the results are here, on a limited edition tape and DL.
