On the opening track of Lolina’s 2026 solo album, an acid synth line lies askew, twitching through the intro as though it has somehow stepped into the wrong song. On the second track, a drum machine rattles beneath skewed two-note melodies. On the third, we recognize that the acid synth had not lost its way after all: it's now playing around some atmospheric chords. On the fourth, the acid element shifts into the bassline, its habitat, if you will. The fifth track offers a brief vaporwave interlude. Only then does Inga Copeland begin to sing, and the album enters funkier and poppier territories.
