This album was created over the past few years with my brother, Alfred. This period has been spiritually transformative for me. It reflects the playfulness and authenticity that emerge when deep traumas are released and old wounds begin to heal. This music comes from a place of joy and connection—with my brother and with the essence of being a child: filter-free and in touch with the most uncomplicated and loving parts of ourselves. It still holds onto magic and mystery, the way childhood does, without asking for permission or confirmation. It took me a long time to see this music as an interconnected piece. Along the way, I kept taking material in and out, remixing, removing, rearranging, reproducing, and regretting. But when we finally mastered this selection onto a cassette tape recorder, its meaning began to reveal itself, drawing threads back through time.

Bivabippalukka is playfulness, intuition, transition, and myth. It is the Page of Cups: ideas rising, energy flowing, flowers, stars, and jumping creatures on the verge of other dimensions. Fortune-telling, magic cards, secret caves, and things that disappear right in front of you.

Many talented guests have played with me and my visions throughout this album. Bossa nova is the most comforting genre to me, and we need comfort in these times. We need comfort in order to heal, and we need joy to keep dreaming, manifesting, and transmuting the world.
